Book could have been better. It was just a little unrealistic that such a careless and hotheaded character could evade authorities for so long.
The gun-toting woman had an obsession based on faulty knowledgedangerous. Not the best of plots of rationale for a killer's vendetta.
Very good mystery kept you on the edge of your seat and also very humorous was worked perfect an funny.
This book, although short is a must read in my opinion. It is intense, and has its moments.
The only downfall is that you see everything coming because it shares the view and thoughts of the antagonist right before it switches to what the protagonist is doing, giving everything away as to the events.
This was very interesting book couldn't put it down.
The story of Lori and Davy was a fun and interesting read. They knew and dated back in high school but he dropped her for a socialite his mother liked better. She became a top model but has grown tired of it. Who knew the murder of a white rap star would allow them to see each other again?
There were enough twists and the subplot involving the actual murderer was enough for me, but then throw in the relationship between Lori and Davy and how they both react to it sealed the deal.
I read this book in less than 2 hours. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough.
Jenn Black has done herself proud and I will be reading more of her writing. Great job!
A suspenseful romance, not too much of anything. An enjoyable read with a ditzy blonde bad "guy". The characters are imperfect but lovable.
